Stayed here two nights this past week, booked standard king room and was upgraded to higher floor (their highest actually of the 9th). I was overall happy and in-line with OP.
- Hotel lobby looks great, rooms are dated a bit but mine was in great condition.
- Offered points or discount off breakfast, took the points as my usual, asked if we needed late check out proactively but did ask if we really did need room service for our two nights. (Hint we did)
- Check-in was easy no wait but was lateish around 10PM, they offered water
- Elevators always return to lobby if not used which is neat as the doors stay open so you just walk into the property and can get right into the elevator
- Hotel left note and two glass waters (can't remember brand) for Ambassador status.
- They require you to put a parking pass in your car, and of course charge $25 to park in their open lot which I just considered part of room rate.
Only complaint is the bathroom amenities for soap sucked as they were tiny bottles useless for two people for two nights, and they give just enough towels for one person for two nights not two for two nights. Luckily they had zero issue servicing our room even when they doubled down on asking if we really needed it.
