KL flight MSP-AMS was cancelled today due to technical problems. That was leg 2 of DEN-MSP-AMS-BLQ for me today. Long story but after several further changes I'm rebooked on UA/LH. I'm only Silver on UA so losing out on a bunch of benefits, including the lounge (and I was curious about my first long-haul as Plat on KL). But I digress, and I also just want to get home to Europe for the holidays so it's whatever.

Does the MSP-AMS cancellation make me eligible for the full 600€ cash compensation or 800€ voucher? It was KL-operated, though my connection from DEN was DL-operated. The full itinerary was booked via KL. I'm arriving in BLQ 2.5 hours early though, so not sure if that plays a role.

(I will also be on edge until I receive an original itinerary credit to FB, though there shouldn't be issues with that. I had also purchased SAF and I'm not sure if I can claim those XPs as well - but this is not EC related.)
