I don't spend a lot of time thinking about or strategising what I'm going to wear on a plane. So you can imagine how little I spend thinking about or noticing what others are wearing.

I tend to go for comfort, practical and a couple of layers that can be easily added/removed depending on the temperature of the flight. I don't much go for the idea of taking another set of clothes/pyjamas/sleep wear to change in to onboard, with the resulting toilet contortion act.
