Data Point, and news to me: As I'm triple checking my 12/30 flight to make sure it gets me the needed 4k TQPs, I see that the 25% A-List bonus points earned on paid flights don't count as TQPs (and I assume the 100% for AL+ also doesn't count). I flew on 12/1 and 12/3 and see that the TQPs for those 2 flights are exactly 25% less than the RR points I earned for those flights. Maybe already well known, but if anyone else with status is doing a mileage run, account for not getting the tier bonus points.
I booked an Anytime flight, guess I'll have to go back and make it BS; didn't want to do that for 1) the extra $50 spend, and 2) my companion won't get auto boarding position with me.
And maybe a question: will a Saturday 12/30/23 flight still count as TQPs earned in 2023. Looks like past TQPs are at least back dated to the flight date, if not actually posting on the flight date; thanks!
Edit: Maybe I'm overthinking this. As I now look at booking the same flight, once while I (AL) am logged in, and also while my non-status CP is logged in, I see the same number of "points" to be earned for the flight. So that appears to be before the 25%/100% tier bonus? And therefore I can stay with my originally booked 12/30 flight based on the number of "points" to be earned?
