I always forget about this functionality, thank you. For others/future reference, the link is: https://www.finnair.com/en/customer-...ticket-receipt

This has resulted in 3 emails, each with a distinct ticket number:
  • The original ticket: MAN-LHR then LHR-BSL on one date, BSL-LHR on the second
  • One with a single segment BA1372, getting me back to MAN, with the restriction/endorsement 'Invol Reroute Nonref/-V2R Pax Lost Ppt Used Lhrbsl Cpn To Issue Lhrman'. This was the flight I was offloaded from due to having no biometric photo.
  • One with a single segment BA1402, getting me back to MAN, with the same restriction/endorsement. This was actually the 'backup' flight leaving at 19:05: somewhat amusingly, I don't actually appear to have a ticket for the flight I took (BA1398 at 17:30, albeit heavily delayed). Not sure quite why this is!
So it looks like the BSL-LHR segment in that original ticket is still 'ticketed', and there are no restrictions/endorsements on it. If an agent pulled up the PNR they'd see the other two tickets, and if they read the restriction/endorsement field they'd eventually work it out. But I would have thought there'd be some kind of obvious flag on the original ticket to say "this segment of this ticket is no longer usable because it's been used as a coupon for another flight" - even it was just a note in restrictions/endorsements. Have I just missed it?

Relieved to hear this, and good to know for future. Thanks as ever, corporate-wage-slave
