IMO, the revamp in the Hyatt program for 2024 made this card more interesting.

As noted above, the card incents big spend early in the year via the 20% points rebate for $50k in a calendar year. And the World of Hyatt revamp just made that more valuable. That's primarily because going forward, there are (a) fewer rewards for just barely hitting 60 nights (e.g. no more unlimited globalist gifting); (b) new rewards for > 100 nights, and (c) more rewards for rapid night accumulation, due to several of the awards being earmarked for "valid through the end of the year in which it was earned, plus fourteen (14) months".

If I'd known that the refresh was coming, I would have applied for the card during its elevated 75k SUB earlier this fall.

As it stands, I'm hoping they enhance the SUB in tandem with the revamp rollout next month (fingers crossed).
