I have 517 nights, 6 years as Plat, and re-qualified for Plat for next year. I just got offered to choose the Annual Benefit. That'll make me 7 years as Plat. To get Lifetime Plat I need 3 more years of Plat, but to get there I'll also get 150+ nights, well over the nights needed.
I didn't find the SNAs that useful, because I didn't get the suite upgrades I tried for (e.g. Marriott Mena House in Cairo). And we are supposed to get upgrades, if available, as Elite. So I'm not really sure if the SNAs are really valuable.
But choosing to add 5 more nights to the count, doesn't seem necessary.
Am I understanding this right? Should I just choose the 5 SNAs, and hope they might actually help to get suite upgrades next year?
