New card member here, I already searched but couldn't find the answer and apologies if it was already covered somewhere. I wanted to use the $200 credit for 2023, but I myself almost never fly United. Can I use my own Amex Platinum card to pay United Travel Bank under my dad's name and still get the reimbursement?

I already selected United as the airline for Amex and waited for 2 days.
