Just a datapoint from me - cancelled a partner award online with QF/BA/MH (didn't initially realise I had to call), followed it up and the AAgent said they'd re-deposit the miles. Took about 10-15minues for the miles to magically reappear
Unsure 'when' on the taxes/fees.
