The program is called Encore rewards. You can join - and upon arrival for the first time, check in at some kind of a service desk - and parking will be comp-ed. That's based on the sign up email that we got, and we will test that out next week - when we check in at JW.
We also called - and it sounds like for JW, breakfast is at the Lounge, but the Douglas - breakfast is at the restaurant - at least for Elite member. We also just noticed that Douglas now is not an Amex FHR - but a Hotel Collection instead.
Update:
Upon arrival and check in, we registered at the casino guest services desk, was given an Encore gaming card with $10 value as sign up bonus. Play a couple slot spin, then we went to the room. Car never left the parkade for the whole time we stayed there. We used Uber to get around to avoid parking hassles, plus our friends in the city gave us rides ....
... and when we left, we just drove off the garage. No parking charges whatsoever.
Review for the hotel later. There are a lot of pluses here, but still give us some pause abt the hotel.
