My flight happened, thankfully. But my CW experience was awful. Broken, filthy seat. Footrest kept collapsing when trying to use bed mode. The food was shameful. Service wasn't actually too bad though. Overall, I'd highly recommend going with JAL if you're going to fly J, until this route has the new suites.
If you've not already, I'd recommend putting in a complaint.
I got compensation for my cancelled flight, and was also given full compensation for an extra train and hotel I had to pay for as a result.
But I also then mentioned that the USB ports were all broken on my flight, and was given £50 credit. (Though bit worthless, since I likely won't fly with BA again!)
