It's true that 2x points for non bonused spend is at the higher end of return, but to me the opportunity cost would be rather putting the spend on a card with a larger SUB such as NLL biz gold $10k for 125k points.
FWIW I did sign up for a BBP earlier this year with the same offer as
Dr Jabadski as I do think it's a good offer.
