As a soon-to-be-ex *G I promised to myself to not set my foot on LH Group next year (the only exception being a feeder to other-metal long haul, if the fare is too good to resist). But most people won't fly VIE-AMS-ARN when they can fly direct - and Lufthansa knows it. Why would they invest into competent agents when most of hub captives are gonna pay exorbitant prices for someone who never set foot on a plane and can't even point Frankfurt on the map?
