Below item #50 says Secondary Person / Beneficiary ... as i read it, it means only one. If trying to have both wife and "traveling companion" as Secondary on the same booking, that seems not permitted
Systems perspective ... there is space for only one Secondary guest
Legal liability viewpoint... hotel wants details of who is staying ... and rules & system suggests only one
Solution: make two separate bookings if two different Secondary guests on different nights (back-end system will combine the back-to-back bookings as one stay... wasn't your issue, but just fyi)
Just my reading from technical perspective. Suggest contacting hotel to describe situation, get agreement upfront before the stay
