Just thought I’d share my experience with getting the airline credit and upgrading seats:
- Bought RT flights in Main cabin
- Upgraded to Comfort+ seats through Change Flights (kept original flight) not Select/Upgrade Seats
- Transaction of $155 posted as Additional Collection
- Baggage of $60 posted as Excess Baggage
- Credit received on Day 8
Oddly enough during this process I found that it is cheaper to upgrade by flight change vs. seat selection also whether actually switching flights or just seats.
