I’m sure this has been answered many times before but I can’t quite find what I’m looking for so I was hoping someone wouldn’t mind providing a quick answer. If you buy gift cards from merchant, do you still get points? I bought a gift card from backcountry.com and three gift subscriptions to trade coffee, but was not given points for any of them.

It shows I visited the store, but no tracking of a purchase. I’ve had trade coffee track before when I bought something for myself. Same with backcountry, but there seems to be an issue a few purchase, a gift card or subscription.
