You know, I’m just fine with the lack of rewards/rebates at true luxury venues. I’ve never liked the scrabbling, dreary tracking and qualifying of these programs, nor the sometimes smug/haughty (mostly imaginary) entitlement behavior exhibited, nor the bowing/scraping sometimes required of staff (nor, on the other end of the spectrum, the brusque, facile “recognition”).
