Sam Chui is one that I skip. It went from wow, he's really getting the royal treatment, to "that's now how it really works" when he's flown airlines that I have also flown.

But Josh? I stopped watching or caring when he was SE Asia and was complaining that people were still wearing masks. I'm like dude, it is EXTREMELY common for people to wear masks in Korea or Japan when there's a higher risk of illness. Like it or not, COVID is still around. He just got annoying.

My go to travelers are

Jeb Brooks (the crazy man who has flown transcon on a United CR-2, but also does some nice behind the scenes videos at airports.)
Trek Trendy
Simon Wilson
Noel Phillips (regularly flies the oddest airlines to the most unsafe places, and often in coach), he does seem genuine when he makes teh videos.
Eric Struck, but honestly, he's more just for the eye candy
Oh, and Emma Cruises, but she's not aviation, just travel.
They all to some extent use clickbait titles - it's how they're paid, and YouTube rewards them for that.

From all of those, I like Jeb Brooks, Patrick Shea, and Noel Phillips the most. Trek Trendy uses wide cameras and a lot of photoshop on its thumbnails (so a bit misleading) and also has some videos like complaining about Delta One domestic that seemed fine to me. My guess is that negative videos give more views and guess what - they get more money. And we all go there and watch it.

On the other hand, I confess I really like having youtubers doing this regardless if they're clickbaity or too whiny. I always watch them with a giant grain of salt but they do help me see the seats, the food, the lounges before I decide to buy a ticket.

I'll be looking forward for the video tomorrow.
