*Frequent domestic and international travel, but much of my travel this year was scattered on One World and Deltas partners! Ack. I work in the music industry for the most part and next year is totally unbooked after years of consistent tours that all wrapped this year. Hard to say what work I’ll be doing in 2024, or how my future bosses will book me but history shows that Platinum was valuable for me year to year, COVID notwithstanding.
Anyone have any lower cost ways to game those PQP/PQF given the factors above?
thank you!
Do you need $$$ and PQF or just one or the other? If you need both, ask yourself if Platinum is worth it. The only large difference, IMHO, is the access to IN inventory ... do you book a lot of intl. UA business awards and need that extra bump in availability?
The ETC won't help you - that'll be a 016 ticket which strictly earns on $-spent, so $1k+ETC is less than you need. So you'd have to buy partner prem eco likely to try and make it happen, but this is last minute and will be very hard to do.
Again, ask yourself if you need Platinum ...
prem eco on NH or AC to Asia or Europe is 'possibly' doable for $1k with a $1.9k return, but it will be exceptionally hard, possible impossible.
If you only need the PQF, easy, book a 6-segment domestic award r/t
