I think I left my elderly in ear headphones on BA192 from DFW yesterday (13th Dec). I have been to the Smarte Carte lost property page and done the search thing though I realise it is a bit soon for them to show up.

If they don't show up there in a few days time is it possible to actually report them as lost with a description? I can't see anywhere to do that but maybe I'm being unobservant. Thanks.
My husband has taken Leaving-Things-On-Airplanes to an Art Form. We have so far managed to leave his hand bag on two flights and his Ipad on three. Fortunately he always carries his passport in his shirt pocket and he even managed to let it fall out whilst he was rolling around on the J class bed.The crew were wonderful. I acted with total restraint and did not set about him with my hairbrush as it was not totally his fault

I now go through a check list which irritates him. This is to tell you that we got everything back although one took a wee while as it went off to CPH under the table where he had stuck it, I had a call from Menzies in CPH and they sent it back. I tell you this to bring cheer as it does seem sometimes that one's lost property goes into a massive black hole. Lost property should not have been farmed out and there should be a counter manned in the arrivals hall. We have to ring a number that was never answered - in the end we had to get back from Lisbon to go and collect his hand bag. I was most unamused by the whole episode/

I now have taken pictures of his hand bag and put our photos and contact details on the contact screen of the Iphones and Ipads. This is of no help in the OP's present circumstance but it may prove useful to others
