I almost never see a domestic F attendant offer to hang coats any longer. It seems more common on Polaris routes, maybe because attendants are more senior there and still have some of the old practices, but still I think it's not the norm.

My last Polaris flight had a great FA who was very proactive in offering. I felt a bit of remorse that I didn't have one to hang!
