The miles aren't very interesting (but maybe they improve the amount for the higher fares?) but I will chose HV over other LCCs when going on vacation and needing checked luggage anyway (then the plus fare makes sense), 16 XP for a ~300€ ticket is a pretty good ratio in my book.
Of course if the price is double than the next flight option might be a bit more difficult, but for 10-20€ extra or even 50€ it's a pretty easy choice if XP are needed.
