Yes. Last two times I flew the FAs did not offer to take the coat and I had to ask. Both times after I asked they looked at me like I was an alien making an unreasonable request, and I ended up hanging my own coat (A319/320 with the racks behind row 3, instead of in a closet). Then, nobody brought me my coat at the end, and I had to swim upstream backwards to get it myself at landing. Figured it was just random... but maybe not?
