Here is the selection priority for me as a Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium, and HHonors Lifetime Diamond, and a Hyatt Globalist (not lifetime yet):
- Hyatt
- Marriott
- Hilton

I agree with your forced rankings. But Hyatt isn't what it used to be either even if it is still my first choice.
But the gap is not as wide as it once was. Hyatt is hardly the fount of frequent upgrades anymore either, including some resort hotels that used to be fabulous and generous. The once standard hotel clubs are vanishing even faster from Hyatts.
