Thank you everyone ....

Happy to report having a fine stay at the resort now.
As mentioned before, the hotel went above and beyond to upgrade me from
orginally booked : suite garden view club access 87m2 (1st lvl of specialty suites )
up 2 levels to
granted upgrade : Uluwatu suite 103m2 (3rd lvl of speciality suites)
for a long stay of a forthnight .....
my ego is flattered because my twin brother tried to bribe me to swap his room to mine so he could impress his love interest for the next 14 days
Hotel managed to allocate us all rooms on the same floor / building so it is turning quite easy for all the kids in the family to spend time with the grandparents.

Can report the following gossip....
IC Bali Sanur (ex-Fairmont) is owned currently by the richest man in Bali, who seems to prioritize it as pure investment only.....so YMMV experience
IC Bali Jimbaran has the new owner but all signs point favourably that it will stay commited being an IC
Kimpton Naranta is off the table being opened .....it will deffo NOT be part of IHG ..... last minute change ....very long story which i couldn 't even comprehend ..,, IHG very helpful relocating+assigning designated Kimpton staff across all IHGgroup hotels in Bali, so kudos... !
