Because if I order a car with leather seats I won't be too happy to receive one with plastic seats.
You're entitled to question the logic of LH offering unlimited SEN lounge access in the first place but once it has been offered they should honour it. At the very least they should give sufficient notice (1 year) to allow their customers (us) to review their buying decisions accordingly.
