Are There Certain Days or Holidays Flights Get Cancelled More?
By this I mean certain days like on holidays or before or after the holiday. Like you had this happen to you say twice or more on a certain day throughout the years. Thus it has nothing to do with the weather.
I got to assume Christmas Eve would be on the top of the list? Or would it be the day or days before that? What about Christmas? To those who flew on Christmas, do flights tend to be very empty or average or is it packed? Since flights on Christmas are still high price but not as high as a few days before, I got to assume there are still a good amount of people flying? I heard there are people that celebrate Christmas early and eat early and then fly back home at night? Does that happen a lot with people or do most leave the day after or few days after? Has anyone here flown on Christmas eve and how is that? What about Thanksgiving or the day before or after it? It's almost always packed right? But does that mean a lot of flights tend to get cancelled? What is the reasoning for flights getting delayed or cancelled on the holidays or before it or after it? Does it almost always involve not having enough airline crew members and passengers don't know this until short notice? Or it's almost always due to weather since it's cold around the time? I always notice on the news they show how lot of flights are delayed or cancelled and a lot of people at the airport just waiting and these are almost always weather related correct?

Now besides Thanksgiving and Christmas, what other days or holidays are flights more likely to be cancelled? The thing is I read that very few people fly on New Year's Eve. Is that always true? So no one has ever been on a flight that has been full or close to it ever? So expect half the flight to be empty always? Now if that is the case, wouldn't this increase the chance of flights being cancelled on that day since the airlines know they aren't going to have lot of passengers in their flight? I did recall I read well not really because they would be picking up passengers flying the next day. However, are flights packed on New Year's though? Most people would be tired and whatnot right? I got to assume New Year flights are almost never packed? Or if they are, it's the later flights and not the early flights? So do New Year flights get cancelled often or not?
Now besides these days and holidays that I mentioned, are there any other days that flights tend to be cancelled? The only one I could think of is maybe Labor Day? But the main reason for cancelling flights is weather or not enough cabin members? But if we assuming it's not the weather, it's most likely an issue with the plane right? Also what happens when a cabin member is sick or can't make it? Do they usually find a replacement as soon as possible?
Has anyone here had their flights canceled multiple times on the same day throughout the years and if so, which day was it? Do you also tend to never fly on that day or those days because you had flights cancelled say 2 or 3 times or more on that day so you just choose to not fly that day. I got to assume the days at the top of this list would be Christmas Eve, Few Days Leading To Christmas Eve, Day Before Thanksgiving, Day After Christmas and then New Year's Eve and then Days After New Year's Eve? I mean New Year's Eve has got to be at the top of the list with the least amount of passengers flying right? So wouldn't that mean people who fly on that day probably gotten more cancelled flights on that day compared to others or not? Would be curious if there are people here who had like 3 or more cancelled flights on a specific day like Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve and after that just never flew on those days again?
