Stayed here last month. This hotel is absolutely awesome if you have a car. I would book with breakfast included since there’s not much around. We used the hotel as a base to visit Gotemba premium outlets, Kawaguchiko, Koan campground, Shibazakura festival, and Shira-Ito falls.

We had two rooms: Fuji and circuit view. You can’t go wrong with either one in my opinion. Mt. Fuji is breathtaking. We also enjoyed watching the cars go by on the track. Service was amazing. So far all 3 Hyatt properties we stayed at in Japan have been wonderful (HR Yokohama and HR Kyoto).


We had inquired about the circuit experience upon booking. They contacted us about a month before our trip to set up our preferred car reservations. They then had someone drive us to Fuji Speedway, speak/translate with the check in desk agent, and pick us up after the event. If you pick a manual car, you will have to complete a driving test before hand to prove you can drive manual.

We definitely plan to return here soon. Imo 3 nights was too short. There are so many places that are ~40 min or less drive away from the hotel to explore.
