It's a different calculus for J compared to F. While the soft product in J isn't stellar and can be inconsistent, it's not that bad or that inconsistent compared to competitors' J product. Moreover, the hard product in AA J is pretty good. F on AA, on the other hand, isn't even in the same ballpark as F on other airlines.
