Flying next year CUN-ZRH-VIE and my layover in ZRH was shrunk from 1h15m to 45m. I know the minimum connection time is 40m, but the question is how easy is it really? Will I be running between planes or am I better off just being rebooked onto the next flight which would have a connection time of 3h25m? Inbound security? I assume I would need to clear passport control in ZRH...but not holding an EU passport (US passport).
