Expiration of eCredits?
Delta noob here, a few questions (sorry for overloading this thread, not all are eCredit-specific):

1. I have a ticket for Dec 17, 2023 in a refundable fare class that shows "expiration Jan xx 2024". The funds came from a ticket originally booked in Dec 2022 and changed once. If I try to change the ticket it only offers me refundable fares. Can I cancel for credit then purchase a Basic fare?

2. If I do convert to eCredit and book a Basic fare, can I make a partial payment with my Delta credit card and get one free bag?

3. Can I add a bag afterwards to a reservation with Amex Business Platinum and get that reimbursed?

4. If I try to change the ticket for a flight in May it doesn't prevent me (I did not proceed to the final step but it did not seem to prevent me) from doing so. Will it? Will it do so if I convert to eCredit first?
