How’s TK’s reliability rate of handling checked luggage and making sure it gets onto the next segment after a long layover? I have 2 long layovers coming up early next month (8:45 and 14:10), never flown long haul TK, and am debating if I should check a bag or not. My hope is that since IST is a new airport, it should have properly automated system, but would love to get some first hand reports. FWIW, in the past year I’ve had some carriers do a superb job getting my bags to me during long/complicated itineraries (QR, MH, JL, even LH), and some be abject failures even on simple itineraries (AA, BA, IB). The issue is a bit more prescient since I’ll be flying to another location the next day after arriving from the TK flight. Thanks all
