The front 2 or 3 rows are in the section where the fuselage narrows. It's not a lot, but the fuselage straightens out around row 3 or 4.

Cabin service is usually split into 4 sections (6 on the A380) - right and left for rows 1-5 or 6, and right and left for rows 5/6 to 11/12. So row 8 will be broadly the same as row 3 for initial food choice availability, and that's before any initally unavailable requests are met with spares from the other 3 sections
