Would love some advice - please!
I have an upcoming trip - Melbourne, Australia to East Coast, USA. The international segment is on FJ (MEL-NAN-LAX) and the domestic on AA on separate PNRs. No bags and a tightish 1 hour and 45 min connection at LAX. I had to book this as it was the only flight that would get me to my East Coast destination that day and FJ gets in about Noon PST.
I looked to find travel insurance in Oz that would cover missed connections but don't seem to be having much luck.

What happens if I mis-connect? Will AA help rebook me? Do Oneworld protections help here?
