Stayed here for one night this week. Rate was high given the conference across the street at Moscone. Hotel is nice. It’s very clearly a reflag from the Virgin hotel that opened there (and then closed) a few years prior. It still has those red SMEG refrigerators and the virgin beds. The room was a corner room with windows overlooking 4th and Clementia facing Yerba Buena. The large windows had blackout shades. Overall a good experience.
Used my Diamond credit and “destination” credit for some snacks and a breakfast sandwich from the coffee shop on the lobby floor. The cafe was popular with several people taking meetings/working on laptops. I didn’t have a chance to check out the rooftop bar/restaurant. The valet was fast.
Id stay again, although maybe not if there is a meeting at the convention center across the street - just for the sake of the inflated rate, not because I didn’t like the hotel. My main complaint was the lobby had a strong perfume smell to it. I don’t like it when hotels do this because it bothers my allergies. The rooms and hallways didn’t have this.
