I would definitely book the Iberia fare, especially for the saving and guaranteed Al Mourjan access.

IB and QR have equally mediocre customer contact facilities so I don't think there's a lot of difference. In IRROPs QR will take care of you either way, I'm not sure having a IB issued ticket will change that much.
