Due to “current market conditions” the series of downgrades continues now with 2 key changes as of today (for new tickets):

• Light tickets become non-changeable (not even with a feee);
• Standard tickets can no longer be changed for free. Instead a 70€ fee is applied in Europe, and it can go up to 250€ depending on class and type of flight.

If Elite members would get flexibility as a new benefit it could be an interesting change, but otherwise it will just be a new downgrade (and interestingly it might push many elites to book Light instead of Standard unless they need the extra bag).
