Didn't find a specific thread for airBaltic experiences so I'll just post here. I had two segments with them yesterday, TKU-RIX & RIX-OTP.
TKU-RIX

Early morning flight which took only 45min. I was very impressed with catering for such a short flight and loved that there were separate printed menus for both beverages and food. And an inflight magazine is always a nice touch.
RIX-OTP

This time around the main had fish, salmon to be precise, which I'm allergic to. Hadn't bothered to pre-order a special meal, so the fault was with me, but still asked if something could be done. The FA responded that I could order from inflight menu, but that I'd be charged for it. I was quite hungry so decided to order currywurst. I don't know if she simply forgot or decided to waive it off for a VIP member, but in the end I never had to pay for it.
All in all, enjoyed both flights. Perhaps the only slight negatives were that all the dishes were wrapped when served, and the seats which I found to be quite hard. Definitely ok for shorter flights, but anything over 3 hours might be a struggle.
