It was originally booked in January. I booked Latitude and instantly upgraded all segments with 22 eUpgrades.

Both the outbound and inbound have since endured schedule changes and I was able to move to more favorable dates due to changed circumstances.

Right before the flight I found I could not make it to my origin airport (YVR) in time to catch it. I flew to my connection at YUL and called in to have the first YVR to YUL segment chopped off. AC was able to reissue my ticket with all other segments and confirmed eUpgrades intact.

Now when I go back and check the eupgrade history on the AC website, I found I was refunded 33 eUpgrades. Each time I made a change to the booking, the system refunded me 11 eUpgrades. I actually earned 11 eupgrade credits and flew all segments in J. This is mind boggling.

Upon further review I believe it might just be a display error. My app shows I have 30+ eUpgrade credits less than the website. Probably the website failed to record the 33 eUpgrades debited following the flight change. However, I have no way to confirm or disprove it without going through hundreds of transactions this year to see what my actual number of eupgrade should be, and/or making further bookings to check whether I indeed have the number of eupgrade credits the website displays as I am having.

I’ll just leave it as is. There are way more important things for me to worry about now than this.

If you look more carefully I suspect you will see a bunch of transactions with debit and credit, and in the end the accounting will match. Yes they are good at making simple things complicated.
