What I have learned is that AC crew staying at Fairmont QEH isn't abnormal, what abnormal is the difference between public rates and corporate rates at QEH. I have chatted with multiple guests in the lounge about the corporate rates they paid and how they got upgraded to the Gold floor either for free or for a pretty cheap cash upgrade. Some staff also mentioned about how they do conference rates at QEH.
