Ideally I'm looking for 3rd Jan onwards, up until the 18th or so (a day trip or 1 night stay, otherwise I'll just rack up costs on hotels)

Thanks! Is this 20th Jan?

Thanks! Wouldn't have thought of this. Comparable to the BAH deal from London to Malta price wise too.

Part of me is questioning if I should even bother running for Silver again, or just tap a Double TP deal on BAH when its cheaper and upgrade back to Silver somewhere in the year. All options I'm looking at add up to about 500 or so (give or take, with a hotel night stay for example).

40TP flights may work too, if I have an indirect return route, which still adds up to 160TP - can't find these yet!
Well Bronze isn't great but at least you can pick reasonable seats a week ahead and still have a decent boarding group. But I think isn't there a grace period after your year runs out where you keep your status?
Keep in mind if you are flying business you get lounge access anyway (apart from on American domestic flights).

Spain actually has a lot of indirect flight options, though domestic Spanish flights only get 20 TP per leg. I discovered this to my cost flying London-Madrid-Valencia return earlier this year. Only 120TP not 140TP.
You could always look for something like Lisbon or Porto via Madrid to somewhere and see if you can find anything there (as Lisbon isn't domestic). The Porto-Cairo via Madrid option seems to be about £382 though you of course have to get back from Cairo somehow :-)

Is there anywhere you have to go anyway in the next few months? That's often the best place to start and then see if you can optimise it for tier points.
