I have an TD - Infinite Privilege credit card, which is tied to Aeroplan (Air Canada). One of the perks of this card appears to be that it will cover myself and up to 8 travel companions in regards to free baggage on Air Canada. I am travelling with my family (total of 5) and have picked the BASIC flight with Air Canada, which would normally charge you for the first checked bag per person. I am expecting that the first bag for each of the 5 travellers would now be free because of the CC etc. The next thing is checking in online. When checking in online 24-hours before it'll ask me for baggage per person. I am unsure whether the system will know they will be free? I suspect it won't and would thus attempt to charge me. My question is:

Has anyone utilized the first checked-bag free with the TD Infinite Privilege card and if so was it indeed free and how did you deal with checking in online in regards to baggage?
