Newbie here. I am travelling with my family to Singapore through Singapore airlines and I have some questions,

1. We have rather long first/other names in our passport, therefore when entering passenger details in the Singapore Airlines website while booking tickets I was advised to enter the names with initials (ex: A B C D Doe) by the Singapore airlines call center. Then I called them again and I was advised to send passport bio page copies for them to update the full name in their system backend. They assure me it would not be an issue, although our tickets still has the name with initials.

2. Even if the airline let's me through as promised thorugh the call center, would I have trouble at the Singapore immigration upon arrival? For us we have on arrival visa, so prior application is not necessary.

3. Would my boarding pass be issued with the initials or updated name?
