Airport Support for parents
Hello everybody,
I've been recently in a situation where my parents (60-65 years) non English speakers had to travel from Est Europe to Montreal with a layover in Paris. Instead of being happy because they will going to see their grandkids, they were extremely anxious and stressed about the whole journey.
I called the airport and the airline but they couldn't help as they aren't disabled nor having any medical condition.
Meets and greets services seems to be very expensive (350-600$ per person) and still their access( in airports after documents check) is forbidden.
Looking through this forum I saw many people being in the same situation wither with their parents, or with someone travelling for the first time.
I will drop a question here (I'm not talking about persons with disabilities as they normally have airport support) :
if you'd be in this situation where you or your beloved ones would need for help and that help will start at the beginning of the travel at airport (check-in, drop off, documents check, gate, onboarding, flight, transfer, arrival..) would you use this kinds of service? I wonder which is a decent price for that kind of service..
Thanks
Robert
