The KQ Asante number was added to my booking as Flying blue number for a flight on DL from JFK SAN in second week of October
however it did not map the status to the booking
This despite being in touch with the Twitter team who said it would be recognised during booking

The "Sky priority " desk agent was rude refused to acknowledge screenshots and lacked knowledge as she told me that a mileage ticket could not be changed to an earlier flight without speaking to Skymiles desk..(false as it can be done for 75usd, )and simply said it's a redemption booking and we don't acknowledge ANY status on redemption bookings..again false

She charged me 30 usd for my checked in bags and I got no priority

So KQ status seems quite useless till it maps onto your booking as Elite plus

....i wrote to delta about the Twitter screenshot and bag charge and the lack of knowledge of a "sky priority" agent at one of the major transit International hubs
​​​​​​it took sometime but atleast a month later they refunded the 30 usd charged for the bag
