I'll probably be the first to recommend that you split your long stay in Bangkok between several properties rather than bed down in just one for the following reasons: (a) you're more likely to get decent upgrades to suites for shorter stays (10-14 days is a long time for any hotel to blank out a suite to an elite customer they don't know); and (b) there are so many great choices in Bangkok with great lounges that you should try out a few for the variety. Moving between them with your 4pm check out will not be onerous.

I'd do athenee and SGS. And then there are great ones to choose from after that at different price points and locations. Le meridient for patpong/silom area
