Hyatt Food quality is a sinking ship in North America why is it so much better abroad? We used to hold our fair share
No problem and definitely agree. A lot of hotels have used Covid as an excuse to reduce the quality, but if I recall, I think the switch to pre-made omelets was pre-Covid. We actually asked someone on staff about it the first trip we noticed why they removed the omelet stations, and they said the omelet bar was so popular, they had to remove it to reduce the lines since the wait for being seated at breakfast was getting too long. If that's true, that's crazy they couldn't find a way to handle more guests. Equally disappointing to the lack of fresh omelets is neither the Swan Court nor Regency Club had fresh papaya the last couple of years we have been there, which used to be a highlight at both. Regency Club just had mixed fruit cups last couple of years, and Swan Court just had typical tasteless hotel buffet melons/berries. On the flip side, the Andaz Maui's buffet seemed to be better than ever last time we stayed so at least they haven't cheaped out yet.
