I have no idea if you could get a great deal in F on that route via Amex's International Airline Program, but if I were in your position -- and were reasonably confident that Amex would approve a $30,000 purchase if push came to shove -- I would likely apply for the Amex Platinum card, and then see if I could get a money-saving deal via the AMEX IAP.
