Yeah, except Rakuten regularly doesn't give you the reward, just a message that the merchant didn't pay anything. Or they decide you used an additional discount code or something and it doesn't show up at all.
Before using Rakuten, I make certain to clear my cache and cookies and normally never have a problem. I did quite a bit of shopping during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and some of the points did not post. A very quick and user friendly "chat" had all the missing points added to my account in under five minutes. I have been using Rakuten for about three years and have never not had points post to my account, sometimes I have had to reach out, but it has always been credited in my favor. The one vendor I always have to seek assistance with is Dell, especially if the promotion is for 12% or greater, but have always received the points at the earning level available on the day of purchase.
I have found if you have accessed the website of the vendor and then tried to access again through Rakuten without clearing out the cache and cookies, then the points will not post.
