Already flown and makes no sense to me as it was purchased in RA, but I am having no luck getting them to credit it. I presume it is maybe just a HUCA issue, but I have already tried like three times and they all say the same thing. Seems weird to punish someone for using a GUC.
There have been reports of people getting retroactive MQM credit, so it seems you just have to find right agent. In my case (MUC-DTW), it only amounted to 2000 MQMs and I decided it wasn't worth the effort. In the end, I'm missing out on either 200 MQDs or 1000 RDMs which is not exactly the end of the world.

It's seems pretty clear it was likely an oversight that they didn't create some sort of additional upgrade class when they introduced PS fares (as GUC upgrades from coach are not entitiled to bonus). At any rate, they aren't going to bother to address it now with MQMs going away in less than a month. The situation with VS is worse as GUCs upgrade into G class which is an award class on VS and will earn nothing unless you can find someone to give you retroactive credit.
